  1. 1.Will my photos be safe?


    Yes, absolutely. At Treasure Drives we recognize peoples reluctance to sending their precious photographs out to be processed. We use only the most reliable and experienced package  services. If you ship your photos to us we suggest that you use Express Mail, FedEx, UPS,or DHL. If you prefer that your photos remain at home then we will come to you and scan your photos in your home or office. When we are finished your photos will be safer than ever before.


  1. 2.What is a thumb drive?


     The term thumb drive refers to a computer hard drive not much larger than a persons thumb. A small thumb drive can hold up to 2000 pictures. Slightly Larger thumb drives can hold four thousand pictures.  The thumb drive is easily plugged into the USB port on your computer or digital in much the same way one would plug a lamp into a wall. From a thumb drive pictures can be easily printed , copied or emailed. A thumb drive can also be easily protected from fire or flood.


  1. 3.What is the cost?


     Individual prices vary depending upon services provided. In general the cost is between .25 and .50 cents a photo depending upon whether we do the work in our studio or at your home or office. Restoration prices depend upon the original condition of the photo. Send us an email or call us and one of our consultants will be happy to discuss  your needs and quote you a price. We are confident that you will agree that the price is reasonable.


  1. 4.How long will it take to scan all my photos?


     This too depends upon the services provided and the amount of pictures you want scanned. We can generally scan up to 1000 photos within two days. We can also make appointments as necessary to return to your home until the job is completed. The appointments can be scheduled for the amount of time that is convenient for the customer.


  1. 5.What can you do with the digital photos I have now?


     At Treasure Drives we can print your digital photos, and we can combine both your digital photos and camera prints into a beautifully  and professionally printed Album. A Treasure Drives representative will sit with you and step by step help you organize and put together a personalized photo album specifically tailored to your taste.



6.Do I need a computer?


      No you don’t. We will bring all the equipment necessary to do the job. You can view your photos on a digital photo frame or on your own personal computer.


  1. 7.  What do you do with my printed photos after they are scanned?


      After your photos are scanned we can either return them to your photo albums or we can provide photo storage boxes equipped with file cards.
